Job Description

  • Develop and manage schedule variations, analysing commercial and operational impacts to support network planning.
  • Deliver revenue‑ and cost‑optimised schedule options, overseeing end‑to‑end commercial and operational sign‑off through to publication.
  • Permanent role based at Mascot Campus

The Scheduling Analyst the position is responsible for driving the schedule variations and development process and supporting the network planning process through the robust analysis of the commercial and operational implications of schedule options. More broadly, the role focuses on developing schedule options that drive revenue or reduce costs and improve connectivity with partner networks. This position covers all operational and commercial sign-off for international, domestic or charter schedule proposals, and will assist in the schedule publication (implementation process).

You’ll have – 

  • 2+ years scheduling background, in aviation or related logistics industry 
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business/ finance / commerce 
  • Understanding of key scheduling framework and commercial & operational drivers.
  • Strong Problem Solving and a demonstrated ability to find creative solutions to scheduling problems using own initiative, thinking logically and/or laterally
  • Strong Communication Skills and ability to create a clear two way understanding of all scheduling scenarios when communicating to a diverse range of audiences.  This includes speaking, listening and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate both commercial and operational nuances
  • Well-developed numerical and analytical skills with a focus on developing insights not merely analysis
  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment with constantly changing priorities and stakeholders where trade-offs are required
  • Team Player and ability to work collaboratively
  • Enthusiastic, courageous, curious, energetic and diligent
  • Strong organisational, relationship-building and management skills
