This position is part of the Hardware Solutions; Fast Trak Validation Services located in Korea, and will be on site
The Scientist I for Cytiva is responsible for.
- Responsible for assigned projects of intermediate complexity with minimal guidance and direction.
- Co-lead Technical consultation with customers (internal and external), involving validation testing plans and data review, test recommendations based on regulatory knowledge and expectations.
- Close teamwork and communication, with the lab team to ensure all test requirements are in place.
- Collaborate with external customer to determine scope of required project and ensure studies are designed to meet expectations.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current regulatory trends, issues and guidelines relating to the products being supported
- Interpret laboratory data and prepare specific test reports to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain close customer and commercial liaison during projects. This will involve Travel to customer site for technical meetings and standard presentations and training to customers (internal and external)
- Support intermediate complexity internal project work in support of R&D, NPI, NPD, QC release testing, etc – as required by management.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

- Good understanding of the entire product development process involving regulatory requirements
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Master’s degree in microbiology or Life Science
- Good Technical project management & understanding in scheduling of the project activities/ Milestones
- Good knowledge of laboratory techniques and measurement methods. Explains technical information to customers
- Solves intermediate complexity problems; provides countermeasures using technical experience.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- 3~5-year relevant industry experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaboration skills: Works effectively in cross functional, culturally diverse and matrix team.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and work autonomously
