This position is part of the Hardware Solutions; Fast Trak Validation Services located in Korea, and will be on site

The Scientist I for Cytiva is responsible for.

  • Responsible for assigned projects of intermediate complexity with minimal guidance and direction.​
  • Co-lead Technical consultation with customers (internal and external), involving validation testing plans and data review, test recommendations based on regulatory knowledge and expectations.​
  • Close teamwork and communication, with the lab team to ensure all test requirements are in place.
  • Collaborate with external customer to determine scope of required project and ensure studies are designed to meet expectations.​
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current regulatory trends, issues and guidelines relating to the products being supported
  • Interpret laboratory data and prepare specific test reports to meet customer expectations. ​
  • Maintain close customer and commercial liaison during projects. This will involve Travel to customer site for technical meetings and standard presentations and training to customers (internal and external)
  • Support intermediate complexity internal project work in support of R&D, NPI, NPD, QC release testing, etc – as required by management.​

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develops competence by performing structured work assignments.
  • Uses existing procedures, DBS to solve routine or standard problems.
  • Exposure to working in global environment with cross functional teams.
  • Good understanding of the entire product development process involving regulatory requirements

The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • Master’s degree in microbiology or Life Science
  • Good Technical project management​ & understanding in scheduling of the project activities/ Milestones
  • Good knowledge of laboratory techniques and measurement methods​. Explains technical information to customers
  • Solves intermediate complexity problems; provides countermeasures using technical experience.​

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • 3~5-year relevant industry experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.​
  • Collaboration skills: Works effectively in cross functional, culturally diverse and matrix team.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and work autonomously
