The Opportunity

To continue to drive Prezzee's growth we are looking to appoint a Scrum Master to join our team. As a Scrum Master, you will work alongside other Scrum Masters, and be responsible for coaching self-organising teams to solve complex and complicated problems and deliver ongoing enhancements and feature upgrades to products. You will be passionate about coaching, teamwork and continuous improvement.


The Role You’ll Play

  • Making sure everyone on the team understands the product’s goals and scope.
  • Helping the product owner maintain a healthy product backlog.
  • Coaching the delivery teams in self-organization and continuous improvement
  • Facilitating Scrum events such as daily standups, planning, review, and retrospective. As well as facilitating backlog refinement and a sprint showcase.
  • Facilitating quarterly roadmap planning and review with delivery teams.
  • Helping the team to deliver on commitments, and assisting the Product Owner by ensuring the goals and scope of the product are understood, the backlog is healthy and prioritised.
  • Supporting the team by removing obstacles while coaching the team to identify and remove obstacles themselves so they can deliver on their product goals.


What are we looking for?

  • Experience as a Scrum Master is essential
  • Applied knowledge of agile methodology like Scrum, Kanban, SAFE, Extreme Programming etc.
  • Experience in coaching teams in self organization, cross collaboration and how to identify impediments to progress.
  • Ability to adopt and explain approaches and techniques from a variety of complementary practices and methodologies (such as Kanban) to motivate the team.
  • Applied knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand team needs.
  • Proven application of Continuous Testing, TDD, Automated Testing, and Agile Games.
  • You are passionate in whatever you do and that is visible to those around you.
  • You put the customer at the front of every decision and action.
  • ​​You are able to speak up and be heard - you can constructively challenge the status quo to enable positive change and enjoy working in a changing environment
  • You are a positive thinker and solution driven. As such you are not afraid of making errors and are willing to learn by doing
