You will be accountable for your team's performance, focusing on building and maintaining a highly motivated and collaborative environment. You'll proactively identify and remove obstacles, ensuring the team remains focused on delivering value. A key part of your role involves encouraging and facilitating continuous improvement within the delivery team, alongside coaching and mentoring individuals to apply the most appropriate Agile and Lean tools and techniques. The specific complexity and breadth of products or teams you manage will vary depending on the organisational context.

Day to day you will:

• Focusing on the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, you implement, facilitate, and optimise lean, agile practices across teams, ensuring continuous agility and efficiency in your team and at scale. 

• Foster a culture of experimentation, ownership, and continuous improvement, empowering teams through trust and collaboration. 

• Work closely with Product Managers to coach the product team on backlog management and value maximisation. You'll also work closely with  Engineering and Design teams, as well as multiple stakeholders, to ensure the team has the necessary support and resources to meet its goals.

• Develop flexible delivery plans, manage workflow, proactively resolve impediments, and transparently report on progress using key metrics.

• Facilitate efficient delivery across all lifecycle stages, optimising processes and promoting data-informed, user-centric decisions in collaboration with diverse teams.

• Guide individuals and teams using coaching and active listening to navigate challenges, fostering a growth mindset and problem-solving approach.

• At least 3-5 years of direct experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team is essential.

• A degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or a related field is a strong plus.

• You are an excellent communicator, collaborating with stakeholders, product managers, leaders, and comfortably taking the stance of teacher, coach, and change agent, championing Scrum, Kanban, and Growth Mindset at the team, group, and organisational level.

• You're an expert at using tools like Jira, Confluence, DX, Miro or similar, Management 3.0, Liberating Structures, etc.

• You hold certifications in Agile Fundamentals, Scrum, Kanban and have knowledge and experience in Scrum at Scale, Agile Coaching, Value Streams, and creating and driving OKRs is a strong plus.
