Our Securities Lending Trading team generates alpha for clients across; scientific, fundamental and index strategies. We partner closely with portfolio managers to optimize returns through innovative trade structures. At BlackRock, we lead the industry in applying advanced quantitative techniques and sophisticated models to enhance the performance of our Securities Lending business.

We’re looking for a dynamic and driven professional to join our Hong Kong-based team. What You’ll Do

• Trade and Optimize: Manage BlackRock’s APAC Equities and/or Fixed Income securities lending book, driving revenue and performance.

• Innovate Strategies: Develop and implement trading strategies using company, sector, and market analysis to deliver market-leading returns in a risk-aware manner.

• Build Partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships internally and externally, including prime brokers and financing partners.

• Collaborate Globally: Work with global trading teams to improve efficiency, enhance revenue, and mitigate risk.

• Drive Innovation: Partner with Quantitative Research and Algorithmic Trading teams to advance systems and analytics.

• Manage Risk: Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of trading and operations.

What We’re Looking For

• A collaborative team player with exceptional communication and relationship management skills.

• 4+ years of experience in Equities or Fixed Income, Securities Lending, Financing markets, or Delta One strategies (APAC market knowledge is a plus).

• Strong technical skills: proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL, Python, VBA, or Business Objects preferred.

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all.
