About the role
 

MSS Security is seeking a reliable Permanent Part Time Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tweed Mall (Tweed Heads - NSW). This position is an excellent opportunity for those with strong customer service skills to begin a career in security.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting internal and external patrols, acting as the first point of contact for retail staff and customers, and providing a strong visible presence to deter and maintain a safe and secure environment.
 

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a strong, visible security presence to support retailers with loss prevention, safety, and asset protection.
• Respond rapidly and professionally to security incidents and escalate when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and directions to customers as required.
• Observe and promptly report incidents, completing clear and accurate documentation.
• Perform routine patrols throughout the centre, both internally and externally, to maintain safety and security.
   

Requirements:

• Full Australian Working Rights
• Current NSW Security Licence
• Certificate II in security operations (Or higher)
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
• The ability to work a 24*7 rotational roster, including weekends
