About the Role

MSS Security is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer to join our team at a secure site located in Myambat / Denman, NSW (Hunter Valley region). This role operates on a 24/7 rotating roster, therefore full availability across days, nights, weekends, and public holidays is essential.

The position offers $28.42 p/hr + superannuation + applicable shift loadings, with relocation incentives available for candidates moving to the area.

Due to the nature of the site, applicants must hold a current NV1 security clearance.

Successful candidates will receive paid ongoing training, including site-specific training as required.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting foot and/or vehicle patrols of the site

  • Monitoring and responding to security and safety risks

  • Providing a professional security presence

  • Incident response and escalation as required

  • Monitoring CCTV systems and alarms

  • Completing accurate reports, logs, and records

  • Onsite risk mitigation and compliance with procedures

Skills and Qualifications

  • Certificate II in Security Operations

  • Valid NSW Security Licence

  • Current NV1 Security Clearance (Must Have)

  • Current First Aid Certificate

  • Ability to work under pressure and remain alert

  • Strong conflict resolution and communication skills

  • Full availability to work a 24/7 rotating roster
