Location: Ultimo, Sydney NSW
Salary: $96,000 + Superannuation
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm (50 hours per week)

 

MSS Security is seeking an experienced and motivated Security Supervisor to lead our team at a prestigious ABC client site in Ultimo, just minutes from Sydney CBD. With excellent access to public transport, comprehensive training, and ongoing learning and development opportunities, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional looking to further their leadership career.

 

About the Role

As the Security Supervisor, you will lead a team of approximately 15 Security Officers, ensuring the delivery of a professional, safe, and customer-focused security service. Working closely with both the client and MSS management, you will oversee daily operations, support your team, and maintain the highest standards of service delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, mentor, and support a team of approximately 25 Security Officers locally and nationally.

  • Oversee daily security operations and ensure adequate staffing levels.

  • Oversee a National Control Room operations 

  • Maintain compliance with site procedures, policies, and statutory requirements.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.

  • Conduct patrols, inspections, and quality assurance checks.

  • Complete incident reports to up-brief management and maintain accurate operational records.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client and internal stakeholders.

  • Promote a positive team culture focused on professionalism, continuous improvement and safety.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a Security Supervisor or similar leadership position.

  • A current NSW Security Licence.

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop security teams.

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Confidence managing operational incidents while remaining calm and professional.

  • Strong computer literacy and report-writing skills.

  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
