The Seller Scaling Manager plays a critical role in driving seller growth and long-term success on eBay. This role requires a strategic problem solver with strong e-commerce expertise, capable of translating global programs into impactful local execution and delivering measurable outcomes.

You will lead three core scaling programs (Kickstarter, ProSeller, and Seller Clinics) and manage a local team of Growth Advisors responsible for programmatic seller engagement. You will also partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders locally and globally to align on strategy, share insights, and continuously optimise our scaling approach.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development & Execution

  • Localise and execute global scaling programs to drive growth and success for Australian sellers on eBay
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Growth Advisors delivering programmatic account management at scale, including active involvement in hiring and team build-out
  • Define, track, and evolve key performance indicators to measure program effectiveness and seller growth
  • Identify opportunities to optimise program design, seller journeys, and operational efficiency
  • Partner with Category, Finance, GCX, eBay Live, and Marketing teams to align scaling initiatives with broader business objectives

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with GCX to successfully onboard and scale newly acquired sellers
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Acquisition, Seller Management, and Customer Support teams to identify high-potential sellers and drive their progression through scaling programs
  • Work closely with Analytics to generate insights, evaluate performance, and inform strategic decisions
  • Share local learnings and best practices with global teams to continuously improve program effectiveness

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor seller and program performance against key metrics and growth targets
  • Identify performance gaps and implement data-driven improvements
  • Deliver regular reporting and actionable insights to senior stakeholders on program outcomes, risks, and opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years’ experience in e-commerce, sales, marketing, or business development, ideally in a scaling, growth, or CRM-focused role
  • Strong understanding of eBay’s platform, seller ecosystem, and tools
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
