Team: Consumer PR, Social & Influence

Location:Sydney

Employment type: Permanent

Be part of the largest and only truly integrated communications agency in Australia.

Play your part in a brilliant company culture built on teamwork, creativity, and fun.

At Ogilvy PR, we work with some of the biggest brands in the world to deliver earned-led creativity that drives real brand and business impact.

Whether it be creative development, brand strategy, public relations, influencer engagement, events and activations, social and digital strategies, we have it all, and we’re looking for curious, brave, and enthusiastic minds who share our philosophy and want to bring something unique to the table.

About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative consultant at the Senior Account Director level to join our team to play a lead role in the KFC team. If you have experience and a passion for developing disruptive, earned-first ideas that shape culture and a proven track record in client and team leadership, we want to hear from you! We’d love someone with experience in the QSR category (as a consultant, or at the very least as a consumer).

As a senior leader in the KFC team, you will be at the forefront of shaping impactful creative ideas and providing high-level counsel to our clients. You will be an expert project manager and thrive on nurturing and developing multi-disciplinary teams, combining a mastery of the fundamentals with a passion for insight-driven consultancy.

You will be the inspiring leader who guides our talented team in crafting strategies that encompass publicity, media relations, social media and influencer engagement, content creation, and immersive brand experiences. Your ability to collaborate, lead, and guide teams, partners and stakeholders will be key to delivering exceptional results for our clients.

If you're ready to create an impact for some of the most exciting brands in the industry, we’d love to meet with you!

What you'll do:

  • Play a key role in building and crafting campaigns that work across all channels, steering brand strategy and providing high-level client counsel.
  • Operate as a subject matter expert, applying consulting expertise and industry knowledge across the technology landscape.
  • Understand what it takes to deliver the vision, performance, and growth requirements of the business.
  • Develop and deliver internal programs to strengthen company culture and team performance.

What you'll bring:

  • You have an interesting story to tell and want to contribute to our business using your extensive experience across the communications landscape
  • You know what it takes to tell stories that matter, then create great content and build effective campaigns around them
  • You have a strong understanding of the Australian media landscape and a passion for ideas that activate media in non-traditional ways
  • You’re a great collaborator with creative teams, social strategists and creators, influencer marketing experts and of course, clients
  • You bring passion to your work and love to make things happen
  • You have an enquiring mindset and uncover all sides of the story
  • You bring empathy and humility to all situations because you are a people person
  • You create value and always keep your eyes on the prize
  • You communicate clearly and transparently with your team
