As a Senior Account Manager, you will take full ownership of our top tier sellers portfolio and play a key role in developing its long-term success. Your core mission is to grow these accounts by identifying new countries, categories, and products where sellers can expand their sales. Beyond driving numbers, you will act as the trusted partner for your sellers, representing refurbed in every interaction, uncovering and leveraging synergies to unlock sustainable, mutual growth. You will develop your expertise in a very exciting industry and shape the circular economy of the future. This role will have high visibility in the company, working closely with Refurbed’s leadership team and offering a an attractive personal growth path.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You hold a university degree, with 2+ years of experience in Account Management, ideally with marketplace and/or retail businesses
  • You command English & German. Italian, French or Spanish are beneficial
  • Proven experience in managing and growing accounts, driving performance improvements, and coordinating operational projects with a hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial mindset
  • You are passionate about working with people and can effectively communicate, influence, and build trust with stakeholders at different levels
  • You bring a tech and AI-first mindset to your approach, coupled with strong critical thinking skills
  • You are resilient, learning from setbacks without losing momentum, and bring a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Previous experience working in a marketplace environment

Location & eligibility: This role is open to Europe-based candidates only with a valid right to work.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Take ownership of a diverse seller portfolio of around 350 partners, while directly managing a core group of 10–15 key accounts with the highest strategic potential
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with sellers, acting as their go-to partner while always representing refurbed’s priorities and marketplace standards
  • Develop a clear strategic framework to determine which sellers qualify for direct account management — including defining relevant KPIs, prioritization criteria, and a transparent decision logic
  • Track and analyze the performance of your entire seller portfolio, identifying growth levers and translating data-driven insights into actionable plans
  • Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers and cross-functional teams to solve challenges, identify opportunities, and ensure sellers have an optimal operational setup
  • Guide sellers through our marketplace processes, ensuring strong performance and enabling them to scale effectively across countries, categories, and products
  • Act as a proactive problem-solver and advocate for your accounts, driving innovation and unlocking new opportunities to help sellers maximize their GMV
  • Work within an international, dynamic, and hands-on team with flat hierarchies, engaging directly with leadership on strategic initiatives
