A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Account Manager – New Developments (NSW & ACT), reporting to the Account Director, where you will join the New Developments NSW & ACT team.
A bit about your role
As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of key developer accounts while driving new business growth across NSW and ACT. This role is pivotal in delivering on our Developer Contracts Signed (DCS) targets and ensuring the successful delivery of customer-focused solutions.
You’ll work across large, complex developer businesses and collaborate with internal teams including Customer, SEO, Build, Finance, and Enterprise Planning to align efforts and deliver on both New Developments and enterprise-wide objectives.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of developer accounts, ensuring they are aligned with nbn’s strategic business priorities. You will lead complex deal-making processes, applying a value-based selling approach to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes. A key focus will be driving first-time connections across strategic portfolios to unlock new opportunities and expand our reach. You will build and nurture strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners to foster collaboration and long-term success. Additionally, you will represent nbn at industry events and forums, showcasing our leadership and commitment to innovation in the sector.
A bit about you
If this sounds like the role for you, you’re likely to bring a strong foundation in business or marketing, supported by a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. You’ll have over five years of experience in sales or account management, with a proven track record of success. Your strengths will include confident pitching, effective objection handling, and a talent for closing deals. You’ll be experienced in value-based selling and strategic account planning, with the ability to think analytically and solve problems creatively. Strong stakeholder engagement skills will be essential, as will your ability to build trusted relationships across diverse teams and clients.
