About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our digital media team, supporting a portfolio of large-scale Australian clients, many with global presence and multi-market complexity.

This role is intentionally hybrid, combining traditional account management responsibilities with hands-on paid social execution. You’ll be responsible for leading day-to-day client relationships while remaining close to in-platform performance and optimisation, particularly across social channels.

You’ll sit within well-resourced account teams, working closely under Account Directors and alongside channel specialists. The balance between client service and execution will flex depending on account needs and capacity, but the expectation is that you are comfortable operating across both.

Key Responsibilities Client Leadership & Account Management
  • Act as the day-to-day client lead across multiple accounts, owning relationships, communication, and delivery quality
  • Build strong, trusted partnerships with client stakeholders
  • Support Account Directors on strategic planning, growth opportunities, and commercial conversations
  • Lead client outputs including:
    • Performance updates and storytelling (weekly / monthly) and be the go-to for deep-dive campaign insights or technical questions during reviews
    • Strategic presentations, reviews, and QBRs
    • Clear briefs, recommendations, and responses
Social Strategy & Execution
  • Take a hands-on role in paid social execution, primarily across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok.
  • Take a hands-on role in paid social execution and lead the full campaign lifecycle, setup, optimisation, and reporting, using insights from A/B tests, audience refinements, and budget adjustments, while keeping naming and documentation spot on
  • Work closely with creative and strategy teams to translate insights into executional improvements
  • Maintain strong understanding of social performance drivers, learning phases, and optimisation levers
  • Balance executional detail with higher-level strategic thinking and client communication
Cross-Channel Coordination
  • Coordinate activity across Search, Social, Video, and other digital channels, working closely with traders and specialists
  • Translate client objectives into clear, actionable briefs and optimisation priorities
  • Maintain oversight of performance, pacing, and delivery against KPIs
  • Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and insights, escalating where required
Internal Collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with trading, strategy, creative, and analytics teams
Contribute to strong processes and ways of working that reduce unnecessary admin
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level team members, sharing best practices, giving feedback, and helping them level up their social and account skills.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–6+ years’ experience in a media agency or digital marketing environment, with strong client-facing account management experience
  • Hands-on paid social trading experience is required, particularly across Meta and TikTok
  • Proven ability to manage and optimise social campaigns, including budgets, audiences, creative rotation, and pacing
  • Comfortable interpreting social performance signals and platform dynamics, including learning phases, scaling thresholds, and efficiency trends
  • Confident moving between in-platform execution and client-facing conversations, explaining performance drivers and recommendations clearly
  • Experience supporting large or complex accounts (multi-brand, multi-market, or high-spend environments preferred)
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong client communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Confident operating both in-platform and in client-facing environments, switching comfortably between executional detail and higher-level discussion
  • Commercially minded, with a clear understanding of performance trade-offs, efficiency, and scale
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities across accounts and workstreams
Analytical and comfortable using data to inform decisions and recommendations
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to take ownership of outcomes
  • Collaborative team player who works effectively within multi-disciplinary, well-resourced teams
