The Opportunity

This Senior Accountant role is responsible for managing end‑to‑end financial performance for a portfolio of office assets, providing strategic insights and high‑quality business partnering to drive commercial outcomes. Offered as a 12‑month fixed term contract, it’s ideal for a commercially astute finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys adding value through collaboration, analysis, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Manage end‑to‑end financials for an assigned property portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, modelling, and compliance reporting.

  • Provide commercial insights and act as a trusted business partner to Asset Managers, Property Managers, Finance Managers, and co‑owners.

  • Lead portfolio financial reviews, preparing reports with variance commentary to drive leasing, CAPEX and OPEX performance, actively identify opportunity for growth, efficiency and risk mitigation.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to managing agents, CBRE finance, auditors, and capital transactions teams.

  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and enhancements to reporting frameworks while ensuring compliance and robust controls.

  • Expertise and commercial acumen for involvement in projects and deployment of business strategy

About You  

  • CA/CPA qualified (or actively working toward it) with a tertiary degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • 3–5 years’ experience in financial or management accounting with strong commercial acumen and a focus on delivering business outcomes.

  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, and experience with Yardi or TM1 viewed favourably.

  • Strong communicator and collaborator, capable of engaging a wide range of stakeholders and service partners.

  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and improvement‑minded, with the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
