We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to deliver complex automation and control system projects across major industrial environments.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on full project lifecycle delivery, from design through to commissioning, working with leading technologies across DCS, PLC and SCADA platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver control systems projects (DCS / PLC / SCADA) from concept to commissioning 
• Develop Functional and Detailed Design Specifications 
• Perform system configuration, testing and commissioning 
• Interface directly with clients to define project scope and solutions 
• Support hardware and software engineering for process control systems 
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, budget, and quality targets

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years’ experience in control systems / project engineering 
• Strong experience with DCS, PLC and SCADA systems 
• Background in industrial environments (mining, oil & gas, power, manufacturing) 
• Experience delivering full lifecycle engineering projects 
• Strong stakeholder and client engagement skills

Nice to Have

• Virtualisation (VMware), networking, or cybersecurity exposure 
• Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Additional Details

• Travel required (25–50% including interstate and occasional international travel
• Must have full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available
