As the Senior Analyst, Accounting & Reporting you will coordinate, support and be recognised as a subject matter expert for the monthly reporting, financial processes and balance sheet reconciliations, including selected ticket taxes reconciliations and payment validation functions within the Financial Services team (Revenue Accounting and Taxes). This is a specialised role to ensure information integrity for financial management reporting is implemented and maintained via efficient, effective processes and controls.

You’ll prepare, validate and finalise complex month end journals fully supported with meaningful calculations and liaise with the relevant business units as required. You will also have an ongoing influence on improving operational efficiency of the finance function.

You’ll have –

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance
  • Completed CA/CPA qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience within a similar role in a large / complex corporate environment
  • Proficiency with relevant financial systems including Enterprise size General Ledger systems and Revenue Accounting Systems
  • Advanced Microsoft excel skills with strong financial modelling ability
  • Sound knowledge of financial control and governance procedures
  • Understanding of lean sigma or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with effective time management and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment in order to meet tight deadlines
