Job Description

  • Deliver insights and improvement opportunities across a range of initiatives that better how Qantas manages flight disruptions and recovery solutions for customers and employees.
  • Provide performance insights and reporting, build customer/commercial/financial analysis for business cases and prioritisation, and create high-impact materials for ELT/GLT audiences.
  • 12-months Fixed Term Contract, based at our Mascot Campus

Join Qantas as Senior Analyst, Data, Insights and Reporting in our Customer Care & Recovery team and help shape how we support customers (and employees) when flights are disrupted. You’ll deliver insights and improvement opportunities for initiatives across the Group, partnering with Senior Product Managers, frontline operational teams (Pilots, Cabin Crew, Airports, Contact Centres), business units (Digital, IT, Customer) and external vendors to drive the roadmap and execute projects end-to-end.

You’ll also provide performance insights and reporting, build customer/commercial/financial analysis to support prioritisation and business cases, and create clear, high-impact materials for senior stakeholders including ELT and GLT. Strong analytics, stakeholder influence, and the ability to translate complex data into practical strategy and compelling communications are essential.

You’ll have –

  • 5+ years’ relevant experience in analytics, performance reporting and/or project delivery roles
  • Strong delivery and stakeholder management capability—manage multiple complex initiatives with attention to detail, strategic perspective and resilience in a matrixed environment
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., business, commerce, analytics, engineering or similar)
  • Advanced data analysis across complex, multi-source datasets, translating insights into clear actions
  • Financial modelling & business case development to support prioritisation and investment decisions
  • Dashboard creation & data visualisation to track performance and communicate outcomes
  • Process mapping & design thinking to diagnose pain points and design improved customer/operational flows
  • Commercial, customer and operational acumen—able to balance trade-offs and design innovative solutions
