About the Role
BDO's Value Creation Services (VCS) which is part of our overall Deal Advisory team has gone from strength to strength. As a result, we are expanding our team and on the hunt for a Senior Analyst who is looking to join a team that values initiative, diversity of thought, and a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.
We partner with clients to unlock enterprise value, delivering transformative change either through the M&A lifecycle (pre-deal strategy through to post-merger integration, separation and IPO) or post M&A lifecycle (strategic initiatives of the CFO, operational excellence & enterprise transformation). We work with ASX-listed companies, private equity funds, and fast-growing businesses to deliver commercial, operational and corporate function transformation.
Key responsibilities:
- Post-Merger Integration: supporting the development of integration strategies and operating models, assisting with execution planning and coordinating cross-functional workstreams
- Carve-outs & Separations: conducting stranded cost analysis and mitigation planning, preparing carve-out financials and operational baselines, tracking separation milestones and risks across functional areas.
- Deal Execution Support: operational due diligence and assessing integration/separation complexity; preparing client deliverables including reports, presentations, and dashboards
- Project Management & Client Engagement: facilitating workshops and meetings with client teams and third-party advisors.
