    Job Description

    As a Prudential Compliance Senior Analyst, you’ll help safeguard TAL’s long‑term strength by providing clear analysis, advice and support across our risk and compliance framework. Working closely with the business, you’ll ensure culture, conduct and compliance risks are well managed in line with legislation, regulation and our Board‑approved risk appetite. Your work directly supports TAL’s purpose, protecting Australians when they need us most, by enabling responsible decision‑making, strong governance and a customer experience built on trust.

    In This Role You Will:

    • Strengthen compliance frameworks by helping develop clear, effective policies aligned to prudential and regulatory requirements.
    • Embed regulatory change by supporting the assessment and implementation of new legislation to enhance TAL’s risk management approach.
    • Improve risk visibility by contributing to enterprise‑wide monitoring of compliance obligations and supporting incident and breach management.
    • Enhance regulatory confidence by assisting in the ongoing management of TAL’s relationship with APRA.
    • Enable informed decisions by supporting high‑quality reporting that provides insights on non‑financial risks to senior leaders and the Board.
    • Champion strong risk culture by role‑modelling TAL’s risk culture framework and promoting sound conduct across the business.

    Qualifications

    • Relevant tertiary qualifications
    • Practical experience in risk or compliance, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.
    • Ability to interpret and communicate technical or regulatory concepts in clear, accessible language.
    • Familiarity with APRA, the Life Act or similar regulatory frameworks, with a willingness to deepen expertise.
    • Confident using core business tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, to analyse and present information.
    • Collaborative mindset with a commitment to TAL’s values, sound judgement and a proactive approach to learning.
