Position Summary:
Create a strong analytic and process automation capability across core business processes in Australia and New Zealand, commencing with Quote to Cash then more broadly to other core processes. This is essential to meet the region’s high growth ambitions, including delivering on an outstanding customer experience and driving efficiency of internal processes. This role works closely with Supply Chain peers as well as Portfolio, Sales, Finance and IT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Connect the end-to-end supply chain (supplier to customer) through data integration and visualisation, to enable superior exception management capabilities
- Build out a strong performance and analytics reporting capability (using Power BI) – first starting within the Quote to Cash processes, then extending to Product Lifecycle Management and Procure to Pay
- Build clear insights out of complexity, enable easy prioritization, significantly diminish the dependency on excel and stand alone reports for regular reporting, and reduce the single point dependencies in the business
- Ensure that data can be mapped successfully across different systems (ERPs, CRM, freight, other) to ensure coordinated insights, and efficient process automation
- Support functional leads in the execution of key improvement projects using well understood project management-light methodology. Provide the senior leadership team good line of sight on existing and planned improvement initiatives and where there are obstacles that need to be addressed. Ensure post reviews are established for major changes.
- Apply PPI (Lean/CI) thinking in defining problems, identifying root causes, one-page action planning, etc. Master simplicity, and delivery of staged improvements.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, mathematics, engineering or a related field
- Experience building capability across systems, processes & people, and enabling commercial value
- Experience working in a complex matrix environment
- Strong technical skills in Power BI, Power Automate and associated technology
- Strong familiarity with JDE E1, SAP and Salesforce well regarded

- Ability to translate large amounts of information and priorities into implementable strategies and deliver outcomes. Skilled in simplifying data into actionable insights
- Strong commercial competence with the ability to draw insights from data
- Enterprise thinker, understanding the inter-dependencies of processes like QTC, P2P, MDM, R2R within sales and distribution organisations.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to prioritize based on key result areas, to handle time optimally and to meet agreed targets
- Proven high level of integrity and professional standards
- Able to bring a cohort of ANZ analysts together, to coordinate and work to a common framework (ie 'pull together')
- Able to train others in intermediate level Power BI and Power Automate
- A passion for continuous improvement.
