About the Role

With continued high growth and a healthy pipeline of transactions, the BDO 

Sydney Deal Advisory team are seeking to appoint a Transaction Services (TS) Senior Analyst to join the team.   • Leading Accounting Adviser for IPOs on the ASX in 2024
  • A leading Financial Due Diligence provider globally in 2024 
  • Completed 1,752 deals globally in 2024 of which 23% were cross border.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Analyst in TS, your primary responsibility is to assist with the delivery of TS engagements on a day-to-day basis by performing detailed financial analysis (i.e. financial due diligence and forecast reviews) and preparing reports/ presentations for senior management and boards.

This role will also provide the opportunity to:

  • Interact directly with senior management (C-suite) of our clients
  • Identify negotiation factors for purchase price and deal structuring
  • Set a career path with clear and honest visibility around progression
  • Assist with business development and pursuit activities as well as cultivating long-term client relationships
  • Develop and manage divisional strategic tasks

About You:

Our ideal candidate comes from a professional services or similar background with some due diligence experience. You are passionate about working with clients and looking to build a long and successful career in this industry.

As well as:

  • Strong report writing, research, modelling and financial analytical skills.
  • Undertaking the CA and/or CFA qualifications or similar
  • Strong time management and analytical skills
  • Highly effective communication skills enabling results to be conveyed concisely
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word programs.
