Stake is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join us at our Bondi Junction HQ, with a flexible hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 WFH).

About this role 

As Senior Analytics Engineer at Stake, you’ll lead the development of data products, analyze complex data, build efficient pipelines, and deliver insights to drive strategic decisions and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, optimize, and maintain robust data pipelines to transform raw data sources into relevant business models. Adhering to Stake’s standards of quality.
  • Partner with the Head of AI to establish robust data pipelines that will support the growth and development of Stake's AI initiatives
  • Lead the implementation of data integrity best practices, monitor data health, and manage cross-functional projects from concept to deployment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align data projects with business strategy and provide actionable insights to drive growth.
  • Mentor team members, foster collaboration, and promote data literacy across the organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, applying innovations to enhance Stake’s data capabilities.

A bit about you

  • Proficient in SQL, Python, and GCP data technologies (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Functions).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Understanding of data modelling concepts and best practices.
  • Experienced in leading technical projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Business-savvy, with knowledge of Product, Finance, or Marketing disciplines and a track record of aligning data initiatives with strategic goals
