Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Associate/ Associate Director to support the Head of Australia Marketing in the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns for Barings in both Wealth and Institutional channels. This is to support the growth of Barings in Australia, strengthen the brand presence and support acquisition and retention objectives.  
Primary Responsibilities

Events, sponsorships & merchandise

  • Proprietary events: Help with venue sourcing, event planning, vendor management and on‑site execution, coordinate post‑event follow‑up
  • Industry sponsorships: Manage industry sponsorship deliverables and coordinate on-site branding, merchandise and digital assets
  • Help manage the merchandise needs of the Australian Marketing and Sales team, maintaining relationships with suppliers, managing costs, and contributing new ideas

Multimedia

  • Assist in developing digital and advertising marketing plans to support Institutional and Wealth distribution channels
  • Work closely with Digital and Content teams on global marketing initiatives and contribute local insights
  • Assist in managing the local website via the CMS and ensure that information is up to date
  • Assist in creating digital content such as product educational videos, flyers, LinkedIn posts, etc.

Public Relations

  • Provide support for related PR initiatives, including the development and distribution of press releases, the coordination of media events and interviews, and the generation of media coverage reports
  • Maintain positive relationship with key publications under the guidance of the Head of Australia Marketing

Marketing operations

  • Ensure regular compliance reporting is accurate and up-to-date
  • Support the Head of Australia Marketing to track actuals vs. budget
  • Gather and analyse relevant market intelligence and research on industry trends and competitors
  • Fulfil additional and relevant tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements
  • Establish partnerships with peers within the APAC Marketing team, and Global teams as needed
  • Develop productive relationships with multiple business partners, including Sales, Investment Teams, Operations & Compliance

Qualifications

  • University Degree preferably in Marketing, Finance, Communications, Business Administration
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in asset management or financial services is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and risk management
  • A desire to find creative solutions
  • Good time management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and in a structured manner
  • Committed and agile
  • An enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Cvent is desirable
