As a Senior Associate for Yield Operations, you will play a crucial role in building and ensuring the seamless operation of Airwallex's newest product: Yield. This is a tremendous opportunity to deliver great customer experiences while being able to help continue building one of our newest products. You will be a key point of contact for operational requirements and inquiries related to Yield, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve problems and improve overall customer experience. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills when working with teams and external partners all over the world. You will combine operational execution, data analytics, and strategic thinking to deliver daily impact and lead long-term changes to both operational and product efficiencies within the Yield product.
Responsibilities:
Operations Execution & Optimisation: Implement Yield operations work seamlessly, not afraid to roll up your sleeves to do the work itself, ensuring all transactions and reporting are encoded and recorded properly. Develop and implement strategies to optimize Yield operations, applying an incredibly analytical approach to dramatically improve processes with the objective of providing a world-class customer experience. Identify operational gaps, bottlenecks, and areas of improvement through comprehensive data analysis.
Automation & Tooling: Able to build automations and tools using available resources (e.g., Google Sheets, scripting, Python, JS, etc.). An understanding of work automation is a huge plus to be successful in this role.
Cross-functional & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders, including internal teammates and external partners and vendors who contribute to Yield. Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, finance, and customer support and success teams to ensure operational requirements are incorporated into product development and process enhancements. Lead cross-functional projects to drive operational initiatives, including system integrations, process redesign, and technology implementations within the Yield product. Foster a collaborative and cohesive environment by working closely with teams across different functions and geographies.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Responsible for providing regular updates to senior management on the status of Yield operations, including identifying emerging risks and proposing recommendations to mitigate those risks. Utilize analytical tools (SQL helpful but not required) to extract, analyse, and interpret large datasets to derive actionable insights. Develop and maintain operational dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and trends. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership through effective data visualisation and presentations.
Project Management & Ad Hoc Requests: Handle special projects and ad hoc incoming requests, including deep dives on issues identified by leadership or functional teams.

Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience, preferably with a fast growing tech startup or top-tier strategy/management consulting or equivalent
Extremely strong analytical skills and at least some experience in SQL

Self-starter that can identify and prioritise opportunities to focus on
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Technology, financial services and/or experience in a high growth environment is advantageous
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
