About the role:

  • Perform detailed analysis of historical and forecast financial information across buy side and sell side due diligence engagements, identifying key earnings drivers, working capital trends, cash flow considerations and transaction risks.
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients' businesses and industries to identify value drivers, commercial opportunities and potential areas of concern, delivering insights that support informed investment and transaction decisions.
  • Utilise data analytics, AI enabled tools, and technology driven approaches to improve efficiency, enhance the quality of analysis, and deliver greater value to clients.
  • Work closely with managers, directors, and partners to deliver high quality client outcomes, while supporting and mentoring junior team members through coaching, technical guidance, and on the job development.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and high performing team environment by applying commercial acumen, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to solving complex transaction related issues.
  • Support the preparation of Independent Accountant's Reports, including preparation of financial information included in ASX prospectuses.

About you:

  • A Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major
  • 2-4 years' experience within a professional services environment in a similar role
  • Transactions experience, preferably within Corporate Finance, Advisory or Consulting
  • Completed or near-completed CA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills
