About the role:

Position Summary

Senior Associates of the division have a responsibility for effectively managing multiple projects and staff in a rapidly growing team, working with Senior Managers and the leadership team.  The role will involve taking the lead on smaller projects or working with Senior Managers on projects which require a high level of advisory input, assisting in planning and control of medium to larger assignments and supervising junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Corporate valuations – Valuation of companies and intangible assets for taxation, transactional decision-making purposes, and litigation  purposes across a wide range of industries;
  • Accounting valuations – Perform and review purchase price allocations, intangible asset valuations, impairment tests and option valuations for accounting purposes across a wide range of industries;
  • Independent expert reports – IERs under ASIC and ASX requirements;
  • Financial Modelling – Building and review of financial models in Excel;
  • Client management – develop client relationships and manage a portfolio of engagements; and

Leadership and training – lead and develop junior team members

About you:

Essential

  • Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major
  • Completed CFA, CA or equivalent
  • 4-6 years’ experience in Professional Services
  • 3+ years valuations experience
  • Strong ethical standards
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
