As a Senior Auditor, you will provide independent and objective assurance by evaluating the design and effectiveness of our governance, risk management framework, and controls. You will assess our controls for mitigating operational, financial, people, and strategic risks, ensuring they are comprehensive and encourage effective risk mitigation by management.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide independent and objective assurance by reviewing the design and operating effectiveness of the Bank's governance, risk management framework and controls for mitigating operational, financial, people and strategic risks
Conduct audits and reviews independently, often as part of a small team
Utilize computer-assisted audit techniques and tools
Audit banking operations, financial services, financial markets, and financial instruments
Utilize contemporary risk-based auditing methodologies to design and test internal controls
Enhance your own and your team's professional skills by adhering to Audit's Training Policy and meeting continuing professional development requirements
As a Senior Auditor, you must demonstrate significant knowledge and experience in:
Experience with auditing
Proficiency in computer-assisted audit techniques
Training or experience in auditing banking operations and financial services
Understanding of risk management frameworks and contemporary audit methodologies
Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, finance, or related disciplines
Your team
You will report to a Portfolio Manager as part of the Audit Group that aspires to deliver world class services to the Audit and Risk Committee and Executive team. Part of Audit's continued commitment is a dedicated focus on Data Analytics to influence the Bank's risk culture and provide assurance over the Bank's strategic initiatives. It is also responsible for conducting independent appraisals of the Reserve Bank's activities, functions, and operations to ensure that an adequate framework of internal controls have been established and is operating effectively
