About the role

As Tyro's Senior Brand & Acquisition Campaigns Manager, you'll play a critical role in shaping and executing end-to-end marketing campaign and initiatives that both build our brand and drive customer acquisition across Tyro's suite of products. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, creativity and performance, this role blends long-term brand building with short-term direct-response and demand generation, requiring a strong understanding of both brand strategy, demand generation, and campaign effectiveness across the full funnel. 

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver campaigns that inspire, convert, and position Tyro as Australia’s leading challenger in the payments space. This is a high-impact senior marketing role that requires exceptional stakeholder management, strategic thinking, creative excellence, and commercial acumen. 

What you'll do:

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of integrated brand and acquisition campaigns across multiple channels with a clear understanding of the role of channel for brand or direct response, including but not limited to TV/BVOD, digital, out-of-home, contextual publishers, content, print, social. 

  • Partner with analytics, digital media, and martech teams to test, measure, and optimise campaign performance, and champion governance and stakeholder management by connecting with cross functional teams such as (but not limited to) partnerships, sales, customer support, legal, and pricing.

  • Own campaign timelines, milestones and delivery with attention to detail and budget discipline. 

Brand Leadership & Governance

  • Inspire audiences both inside and outside the organisation to choose Tyro via compelling storytelling, thought leadership, brand campaigns and activations.

  • Advocate for and evolve Tyro’s brand strategy, ensuring consistency across campaigns and customer touchpoints. 

  • Conduct brand reviews for externally facing Tyro materials as part of the governance process alongside Compliance, Product, and Legal teams ensuring brand consistency, regulatory alignment, and high-quality customer communications.

Performance Ownership & Acquisition Focus

  • Underpin the business strategy and support the overall growth campaigns for Tyro’s suite of products, services and other offers. Assist with the setting of targets that underpin the business strategy, budgets and reporting for the growth function. 

  • Manage Tyro's growth offers, campaigns calendar and creative developing a cohesive overarching strategy, messaging and campaign implementation plan for the growth marketing team and wider stakeholders.

  • Develop and deliver demand generation, nurture strategies, including organising and launching webinars, tools, and whitepapers, to capture, engage, and convert prospects, maximising ROI across the funnel with the support from the Digital Sales team.

Stakeholder & Agency Management

  • Align with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Data, and Partnerships to ground campaigns in commercial goals.

  • Act as the glue between brand, creative, acquisition and channel owners to ensure seamless execution. 

  • Build and maintain productive relationships with external agencies, media partners, and in-house teams. 

Budgeting & Reporting

  • Support planning, forecasting, and management of campaign budgets. 

  • Provide ongoing reporting and recommendations on campaign performance, learnings, and optimisations. 

  • Ensure campaign metrics ladder up to business outcomes and longer-term brand equity. 

What you'll bring:
  • At least 8 years previous experience in advertising, acquisition marketing, brand campaign development and/or media planning.

  • Experience in managing multi-channel campaigns (TV, Billboard, Digital, Social etc).

  • Strong campaign planning and execution capability.

  • A high level of organisation and project management skills.

  • Strong competency in all Microsoft tools – particularly Excel & PowerPoint.

  • Excellent verbal & written skills - attention to detail.

  • Strong presentation skills and ability to distil research and data to tell compelling stories.
