Job Summary

ResMed changes lives by developing, manufacturing and distributing innovative medical devices and cloud-based software solution to better diagnose, treat, and manage sleep-disordered breathing, COPD, and other key chronic diseases. As part of our ongoing digital transformation, the ResMed Supply Chain is evolving to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and increase capacity.

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst (1-year fixed term contract) to lead strategic transformation initiatives within the Non-Conformance Management space across our global Supply Chain network. This role resides within the Global Technology Solutions (GTS) team and will serve as a vital bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.

The ideal candidate combines strong domain expertise in Supply Chain & Manufacturing, especially in non-conformance and quality processes, with advanced analytical and leadership skills to define, evaluate, and drive the implementation of technology-enabled solutions that enhance quality control, compliance, and operational excellence.

Let’s talk about Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis and re-engineering of Non-Conformance Management (NCM) processes within the regulated manufacturing and quality assurance environments, ensuring alignment with ISO 13485, FDA and EU MDR compliance requirements.

  • Partner with key business stakeholders across the Supply Chain & Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs units, engaging in ideation discussions to define business problems and use cases. Serve as a thought leader for business processes, promoting increased efficiency and productivity.

  • Analyze and document current & future state business processes regarding Non-Conformance Management. Be responsible for gathering and documenting the business requirements and functional specifications for solution development.

  • Define and prioritize user stories, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.

  • In collaboration with GTS Service Designers and Architects, facilitate ideation & solution design workshops.

  • Support the delivery of technology solutions, ensuring they are effectively implemented and provide real business value.

  • Identify potential risks associated with technology and operational change and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

  • Ensure full requirements traceability with documented evidence for each release.

  • Champion user-centric design principles in delivering NCM-related system interfaces, ensuring usability and adoption in high-compliance manufacturing and quality operations.

  • Collaborate with external technology vendors, system integrators, and validation consultants to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions and adherence to software validation protocols.

 

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years delivery experience of medium to large and complex technology application implementation across business process analysis, requirements analysis and solution design.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficient domain knowledge in Supply Chain processes

  • Strong influencing and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels from both business and technology domains

  • Able to grasp and adapt to/embrace new industry trends that can lead to new business opportunities and system innovations.

  • Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to the targeted audience.

  • Highly self-motivated with demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership.

  • Strong skill set in business process mapping and workshop facilitation.

  • Ability to facilitate the identification and documentation of business and process requirements.

  • Experience with user story decomposition, mapping and documentation.

  • Proven experience working in an Agile environment and management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

  • Proficiency in solving unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.

  • Knowledge of Non-Conformance Management and relevant technologies used in the Supply Chain and Manufacturing domains, such as ERP systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems and data analytics platforms.

  • Demonstrated success in working within extensive, multi-layered organizations, excelling in cross-functional and complex environments.

  • Familiar with the use of BPMN.
