We are seeking a highly motivated and engaging Senior Business Analyst – Risk Stream to join our Future Hub – Risk Team.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will go beyond the run-of-the-mill Business Analysis and bring a wealth of experience in bringing Risk practices to life, translating standards and system requirements for a Risk Management System uplift project. You will work closely with an excited team of Risk professionals spearheading an uplift of Risk practices at the bank with a technical team that is newly setup to deliver the ask.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Clarifying requirements, design, and priorities between the development team, business/product owners, and key stakeholders.

  • Providing support in defining test scenarios, test cases, and participating in testing.

  • Assisting in the development of training materials and the business rollout of the System changes.

  • Helping business product owners identify improvement opportunities, system bugs, and enhancements.

  • Write, review, validate and manage Risk Management System specifications.

  • Independently gather and analyse product / technical information on potential solutions to business opportunities and problems, communicate results and recommend solution options.

  • Plan and execute complex analysis and communication of required information and data.

  • Utilise advanced relationship skills to respectfully challenge, question and manage internal/external stakeholder expectations whilst maintaining positive and professional relationships with senior stakeholders.

  • Assist in developing training collateral, user guides, FAQ’s.

  • Assist end users in system usage and clarifying requirements to enable upskill of Risk practices.

Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in Risk domain performing Business Analysis with a focus on documenting System changes on vendor product in User Story format.

  • Proven ability to translate business requirements and map process into technical requirements, clarify and validate requirements with vendor and technical team.

  • Prior experience in enabling uplift of Risk practices enabled through Risk system updates.
