The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring EML's sustainability and growth by facilitating seamless integration between various stakeholders and the development team.
You will have an agile mindset and a proactive and practical approach to engaging with stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes.
This will be a permanent, full time position based in the Sydney office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce detailed business requirements, process maps and data analysis for complex applications and systems.
  • Undertake discovery activities including facilitating group workshops to support and construct business requirements.
  • Conduct cost benefit analysis and business benefit realisation activities to aid management decision making and assist the prioritisation and planning of activities.
  • Strategic analysis of new ideas to support completion of Business Cases.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve the business by way of technology, data or business process changes.
  • Subject matter expert providing support to the business on the capabilities of software applications and support Agile development processes, including the facilitation and completion of user acceptance testing.
     

ABOUT YOU

  • Full Australian working rights without restrictions.
  • At least 5 years’ demonstrated commercial experience in a similar Business Analyst role, working within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong understanding of technology principals
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills including verbal and written, and the ability to work proactively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within the team and provide excellent customer service.
  • Experience working with agile software development teams, and platforms such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Project coordinator/scrum master experience would be advantageous.
