Senior Business AnalystWhat does a successful Business Analyst do at Fiserv?
A successful Business Analyst at Fiserv plays a critical role by conducting functional analysis on medium to large projects, working closely with Fiserv and its clients in the financial sector. This role involves bridging the gap between Fiserv Project Delivery and Client Cards Support and Business teams to ensure all parties share a common understanding of the functional requirements and solutions within a project.
What you will do:
- Understand the functionality of assigned Enterprise Release projects from Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
- Absorb associated project-related documentation and correspondence to grasp the context of changes.
- Create user test plans, execute user testing, perform post-implementation verification, and communicate with appropriate stakeholders to obtain sign-off.
- Liaise with numerous interface groups where necessary.
- Participate in workshops, functional walkthroughs, and problem resolution forums involving personnel with both functional and technical backgrounds from Fiserv and clients.
- Review and provide timely feedback on FSDs, involving wider coordination and consolidation of feedback from multiple teams.
- Work within the framework of both Agile and Waterfall models.
What you will need to have:
- 7+ years of experience on Cards & Payments platforms, particularly in credit card processing (VisionPLUS application or equivalent) and schemes knowledge (Visa/MasterCard).
- Ability to produce requirements analysis, functional specification, and technical analysis documentation for complex projects.
- Adaptability to working within the considerations and guidelines of a pre-existing operational framework.
What would be great to have:
- Demonstrated experience in liaising with numerous interface groups.
- Experience participating in workshops and problem resolution forums with functional and technical personnel.
- Adaptability to various project frameworks and guidelines.
- Excellent coordination and consolidation abilities for team feedback.
