Based at our Port Botany Terminal in Sydney, the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in connecting Technology and Operations to deliver insights that drive more informed decisions at DP World. In this high-impact role, you’ll partner closely with business leaders to transform operational and commercial data into intuitive dashboards, KPIs, and reporting solutions that enhance performance and accountability. You’ll help embed a data-driven culture, strengthen reporting governance, and elevate the adoption of analytics across the wider DP World network.

Key Accountabilities

  • Act as a trusted business partner to DP World’s business units, translating operational priorities into meaningful reporting, analysis, and actionable insights.

  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to align reporting and drive consistency across the DP World network.

  • Develop a strong understanding of operational and commercial metrics to improve performance visibility, decision-making, and accountability.

  • Design intuitive dashboards and models that enable stakeholders to effectively self-service and use insights

  • Contribute to the transition of business intelligence platforms, including report migration, data model alignment, dashboard redevelopment, whilst ensuring compliance with agreed governance standards.

  • Promote data quality and reporting consistency through issue identification and best practice.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Business/Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. (Essential)
  • 5 years’ experience in business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or related data-focused roles. 
  • Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders, translate business needs, and deliver reporting solutions that support operational and commercial decisions.
  • Strong data governance and data quality capability, with a focus on consistent reporting and KPI standards.

  • Comprehensive Power BI development and data modelling skills.
  • Strong Data Base Management skills and the ability to work with data from multiple operational systems.
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights and reporting that support operational improvement and strategic objectives.
  • Experience working with Terminal Operating Systems or comparable platforms (Desirable)
