CDAO (Chief Data & Analytics Office) oversees CommBank’s data, analytics, and AI acceleration, aiming to develop advanced capabilities in analytics, information management, and decision-making. This role sits in the CDAO Transformation and Change Centre of Excellence (CoE), reporting to the Chapter Lead responsible for Group’s Data Transformation change effort. 

In this role 

You will be supporting the data transformation end-state stream of the Data Platform transformation program. This role is integral to transforming how CBA stakeholders unlock the value of data, ultimately supporting the Bank’s ambition to become the best AI bank in the world. 

Do work that matters 

Other responsibilities will include: 

  • Ensure the people-related benefits and risks of various changes are well-understood and managed 

  • Design, integrate and execute effective change strategies and plans to manage the people impact of proposed changes and initiatives

  • Own the identification, engagement and management of stakeholders inside the Data Platform Domain, Crews and in the business

  • Influence the stakeholder experience by being the voice of the customer 

  • Own the change transition and adoption through integrated strategic and tactical communications, engagement, coaching, training and tracking metrics 

  • Lead the development of change artefacts

  • Support the development of change governance documentation

  • Report on the effectiveness of the change management discipline using metrics and data 

  • Collaborate across the CDAO Transformation and Change Centre of Excellence to build an exceptional culture and drive knowledge sharing, learning and problem solving 

We’re interested in hearing from people who have 

  • Experience in data transformation programs, projects

  • Advanced understanding and application of change management methodologies 

  • Thought leadership, strong communication and excellent stakeholder management skills are essential to be successful in the role 

  • Ability to consult, influence and drive change with Domain stakeholders, leadership and business stakeholders 

  • Advanced in complex change planning and delivery involving customer-led outcomes from data transformation 

  • Understanding of the various impacts of change and business drivers in Technology is beneficial 

  • Experience in planning for and conducting workshops, facilitating working groups, designing stakeholder engagement and training and driving communication 

  • Sound organisational skills, with a demonstrated ability to achieve deadlines and prioritise

  • Work alongside other Chapter leads in the CDAO Centre of Excellence to build and drive an exceptional culture

  • Sound understanding of and experience in working in Agile
