Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Change Manager – Finance Transformation with proven expertise in leading change initiatives within medium to large-scale finance transformation programs. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing change management, communications, and training activities across the program, ensuring a seamless transition for Finance and Actuarial teams as they move from current to new business processes and systems.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role, working flexibly from our Sydney office.
In this role you will:
- Oversee change management, communications, and training activities across the finance transformation program.
- Engage stakeholders at various levels, particularly within Finance and Actuarial teams, to build rapport and develop long-term relationships.
- Develop strategies to prepare leaders and impacted teams for the transition, ensuring readiness and willingness to adopt changes.
- Analyse business requirements and conduct impact assessments and training needs analyses.
- Create engaging and visually appealing presentations and collateral to support change activities.
- Establish key metrics to measure and track business readiness for change, adapting activities as necessary.
- Work closely with business leaders, program managers, and change management teams to align and integrate change plans with overall delivery plans.
- Proven experience managing change in medium to large transformation programs, ideally within life insurance or financial services
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, respond to short deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities
- Tertiary degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field, desired
