Job Description:

dentsu is a network designed for what’s next, helping clients predict and plan for disruptive future opportunities and create new paths to growth in a sustainable economy. As a unified organisation, dentsu brings together deep expertise across media, creative and customer experience to deliver integrated solutions that drive meaningful progress for clients and society.

Step into one of the most high‑profile client patches in Australia: The Woolworths Group.

This is a 12 month, fixed term contract role.

As a Senior Client Director, you'll play a pivotal role in driving some of the business's highest profile media initiatives. Your primary focus will be leading major campaign responses, developing strategic partnerships with key media organisations, and helping coordinate delivery across a complex and fast-moving client portfolio.

Working closely with the Client Partner and fellow Senior Client Directors, you'll help bring together the right people, thinking and partnerships to deliver innovative, commercially impactful solutions. You'll also provide leadership and direction to a talented team while collaborating with specialists from across the dentsu network.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to drive delivery across key Woolworths media initiatives and large-scale campaign responses

  • Oversee multiple workstreams, ensuring projects, timelines and deliverables stay on track across a complex stakeholder landscape

  • Build and lead strategic media partnerships that unlock innovation, value and competitive advantage

  • Spot opportunities in the market and translate them into actionable, commercially impactful recommendations

  • Collaborate across dentsu’s network to bring together the right capabilities and deliver integrated solutions

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering a strong, collaborative culture

What you'll bring:

  • Strong experience in a media agency environment, ideally in a senior client leadership, planning or partnerships role

  • Deep understanding of the Australian media landscape and established relationships across media owners

  • Proven ability to lead large-scale campaigns and manage complex stakeholder groups with confidence

  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive business outcomes

  • Highly organised with excellent project management skills and attention to detail

  • A natural relationship builder with strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience leading and developing teams, with a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset

What's in it for you?

  • Real flexibility to work when and where you feel most productive with our ‘Be the Best You’ policy.

  • The opportunity to give back with dedicated volunteer leave and our whole-company event, One Day for Change

  • 5 weeks annual leave after 2 years of service and 3 whole company Wellness days off per year for you to switch off and take your day, your way

  • Career Development and Learning & Development opportunities, including access to our global online dentsu University

Become a champion for meaningful progress:

Our diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so. For us, this is the foundation for great innovation which, in turn, generates better outcomes for our people, partners and communities. This is why we encourage applications from people with disabilities, and of all ages, nationalities, backgrounds and cultures.

If you want to belong to a one global network where opportunities are limitless – we look forward to welcoming you.
