CDAO (Chief Data and Analytics Office) oversees CommBank’s data, analytics, and AI acceleration, aiming to develop advanced capabilities in analytics, information management, and decision-making. This role sits in the CDAO Transformation and Change Centre of Excellence (CoE) reporting to the CoE Lead. 

In this role  

You will be supporting the Data Platform Domain and Data Platform transformation, which aims to enhance how CommBank stakeholders unlock the value of data. This role reports to the Transformation and Change CoE lead and involves working with closely with the Chapter Lead – Change, Data Transformation, to develop and implement a communication strategy that facilitates the transition to new working methods. 

Do work that matters  

  • Understand the stakeholders, people-related benefits, risks and impacts

  • Design, integrate and execute a multi-layered communication strategy and schedule using a range of tactics and channels 

  • Design brand architecture – look, feel, tone and manner

  • Lead the development of communication tools and artefacts – strategic, tactical, operational 

  • Support the change practitioners with tailored change communication, guiding the stakeholder message 

  • Report on the effectiveness of the communication using metrics and data

  • Work alongside other CDAO CoE Communication Leads to connect and aggregate messaging for all stakeholders

  • Collaborate across the CDAO Transformation and Change CoE to help build an exceptional culture and drive knowledge sharing, learning and problem solving

We’re interested in hearing from people who have  

  • Experience in data transformation and / or technology projects to ensure impacts and business drivers are understood 

  • Advanced knowledge of traditional and new communication and engagement methods 

  • Thought leadership, innovative approach, willing to try new tactics and methods 

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to simplify complex technical messages 

  • Ability to transition between strategy and execution 

  • Curious mindset, consultative style 

  • Strong organisational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks 

  • Good understanding and experience with Agile methodologies
