What is the focus of the role
As Senior Content Analyst, you are the insight engine behind Telstra’s content strategy. You track and report on content consumption across digital channels, helping the Content Group understand what works, what doesn’t, and where the next opportunity lies. You are working with data and insights to build out content performance KPI’s and dashboards that can track the effectiveness of personalised content modules, content merchandising, persona led strategies, and AI effectiveness. You will also help to defi ne and continuously monitor the digital content COE team KPI’s to inform continuous improvement of our next generation always-on content, campaign activation, and long-term content strategy.
You work closely with other analysts across the business unit to connect content performance with broader trading, loyalty, and engagement outcomes. Using dashboards and reporting tools, you surface actionable insights that enable Content Specialists to forecast, and content strategies recommend personalisation plans, optimise experiences and drive measurable impact. This is a data-driven, collaborative role that blends analytical rigour with strategic influence. You bring clarity to performance, confidence to decision-making, and momentum to content evolution.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Monitor and report on content consumption across Telstra’s owned channels (web, app, email, push, social)
- Use dashboards and provided reporting tools to track engagement, reach, and conversion metrics Analyse trends in content performance and identify
- Ensure compliance with data governance and reporting standards
- Continuously improve reporting processes and visualisation for clarity and impact opportunities for optimisation
- Collaborate with analysts across the business unit to connect content insights with trading, loyalty, and engagement outcomes
- Feed actionable insights into Content Specialists to inform content activation and continuous improvement
- Support editorial calendar planning with performance driven recommendations
- Contribute to the development of measurement frameworks for content success
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in clear, actionable formats
