Are you a commercially minded writer who can uncover the real story behind complex, design-led projects?

We’re looking for a Senior Content & Brand Writer to shape how Expo Centric communicates its expertise, ideas and results. You’ll turn strategy, technical knowledge and completed projects into distinctive content that helps marketing decision-makers understand our value and take action.

This is not a general content-production role. You’ll interview clients, creatives, project teams and senior leaders to reveal why a project mattered, how we solved the challenge and what commercial value was created.

At Expo Centric, we don’t just fill roles. We build teams that create extraordinary experiences. You’ll join a collaborative, fast-paced company guided by Courage, Curiosity, Selflessness, Judgement and Communication.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and evolve Expo Centric’s written voice, editorial standards and messaging across marketing and sales channels.
  • Interview clients, leaders, Account Managers, designers and delivery teams, turning complex source material into credible, commercially persuasive stories.
  • Write and improve website pages, landing pages, campaigns, emails, social content and SEO-led copy that is clear, useful and conversion-focused.
  • Lead the case-study process from research and interviews through drafting, fact-checking, approval and adaptation across multiple formats.
  • Develop thought leadership, executive communications, PR materials, award entries, credentials, tenders and sales content supported by meaningful evidence.
  • Manage content briefs, priorities, approvals and source libraries while challenging vague claims, jargon and material that is inaccurate or off-brand.

What You Bring

  • At least seven years of professional writing, copywriting, journalism, content or editorial experience, including recent work at a senior level.
  • Substantial writing experience in exhibitions, events, experiential marketing, creative or brand agencies, architecture, commercial design, fit-out, construction, production or another complex project-based B2B industry.
  • A strong portfolio spanning websites or landing pages, campaigns, case studies, thought leadership and long-form B2B content.
  • Excellent Australian English, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to produce concise copy and detailed technical content to the same high standard.
  • Strong interviewing, research and fact-checking skills, along with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders constructively when a brief or claim needs work.
  • Commercial and brand judgement, strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, approvals and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

Experience in the exhibitions or trade-show sector is strongly preferred. Knowledge of PR, award writing, tender responses, executive ghostwriting, SEO, Webflow, HubSpot or content analytics will also be highly regarded.

Why Join Expo Centric?

  • Work with a cross-border team and make a tangible contribution to high-value, design-led projects.
  • Join a supportive, values-driven environment with established processes, tools and access to subject-matter experts.
  • Receive ongoing mentoring from senior leaders and pursue performance-based growth opportunities.
  • Help shape the written voice of a growing business and create content that supports real marketing and sales outcomes.

  • Concise campaign, advertising or social copy
