We’re on a hunt for a Senior Customer Marketing Manager for a 12-month Parental Leave Cover.

In this role, you’ll responsible for shaping product, customer, and channel strategies, launching innovative campaigns, and optimising marketing performance through data-driven insights. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and senior leaders, the role ensures alignment with business objectives such as customer acquisition, retention, portfolio growth and engagement. It’s ideal for a seasoned marketer with deep expertise in full-funnel marketing, CRM, and digital tactics, who thrives in a dynamic, customer-centric environment.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who has extensive retail banking background, can lead cross-functional teams, manage complex campaigns, and influence senior stakeholders to deliver impactful, data-driven marketing outcomes. You’ll bring deep expertise in CRM, customer acquisition and retention, and full-funnel marketing, along with a growth mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile environment. Excellent leadership in guiding teams and shaping strategic direction is essential to succeed in this role.

What you’ll do
 

  • Lead strategic marketing initiatives across product portfolios, including launches, engagement campaigns, and retention programs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Digital, and Customer Intelligence teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Develop and execute customer segmentation and personalisation strategies using data, AI, and predictive analytics.
  • Manage marketing budgets and external vendor relationships to ensure efficient and effective campaign delivery.
  • Measure and optimise campaign performance, reporting on ROI and driving continuous improvement across channels.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of customer marketers, fostering a high-performance culture and championing innovation.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven strategic leadership experience in retail banking customer marketing, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Deep expertise in CRM, customer acquisition, engagement, retention, portfolio growth and full-funnel marketing across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and fluency in customer data, with experience using propensity models and building business cases.
  • Ability to develop and execute customer segmentation and hyper-personalisation strategies using data, AI, and predictive analytics.
  • A growth mindset and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with shifting priorities.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a passion for delivering customer-centric solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
