  • Manage cases meticulously, documenting all investigative actions clearly to support accurate resolutions.

  • Engage in varied rotational activities within the Security Coordination Center, including incident response, cyber threat hunting, and detection engineering.

  • Lead case reviews, identify improvements in investigative processes, and provide mentorship to junior analysts.

  • Participate actively in tabletop exercises and incident simulations.

  • Continuously monitor emerging threats and maintain expertise in the evolving cybersecurity landscape.

  • Actively engage as an integral member of a global, 24/7 cyber defensive operations team, including weekend coverage as part of a rotation.

  • Develop, refine, and maintain detailed investigative process documentation.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity incident analysis and response, ideally within a high-performing Security Operations environment.

  • Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (such as Splunk or similar technologies) and endpoint detection and response tools across multiple operating systems and environments (Windows, Linux, server, and cloud).

  • Strong familiarity with cybersecurity tools, threat intelligence, malware analysis, and network security fundamentals.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective decision-making under pressure.

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, FERPA, and PCI.

  • Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

  • Proven capacity to multitask effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
