About the role:
We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst with a Financial Services (FSI) background and strong technical acumen to join our Melbourne-based team. This is an analyst-focused role with a strong emphasis on data investigation, insights, and stakeholder engagement.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Must have experience in the Financial Services Industry (FSI)
- Experience working with AWS cloud-based environments
- Lead product ownership ,managing backlog, priorities, and delivery of key initiatives.
- Support BAU,ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution.
- Oversee and assist with release activities from a data perspective.
- Drive the development of solutions on Databricks, managing manual processes until automation is in place.
- Ensure all deliverables meet compliance, governance, and risk standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and business analysts to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Track the progress, manage risks, and facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with SQL, Python, and Databricks.
- Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Sound understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks within financial services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation tool
