Take ownership of product, growth and subscription analytics for a fast-growing Australian technology company.

  • Location: 100% work from home
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM PHT

  • Client: Australian nutrition and consumer technology company
About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to take end-to-end ownership of analytics across a growing consumer technology business operating across mobile applications, subscriptions, e-commerce and digital marketing.

You’ll create the trusted source of truth behind the company’s product, growth and commercial decisions—working across instrumentation, data quality, BigQuery, dashboards, subscription analytics and experimentation.

This is not a routine reporting role. You’ll work directly with the founder, leadership, product and marketing teams to identify what should be measured, ensure the data can be trusted and translate complex analysis into clear recommendations.

The analytics infrastructure already exists, but it needs stronger ownership, governance and consistency. This role suits someone who enjoys improving analytics foundations, investigating ambiguous problems and proactively finding opportunities in the data.

What You’ll Do
  • Own company-wide analytics, including metric definitions, data quality and reporting governance
  • Develop and maintain a single source of truth for product, growth, subscription and revenue metrics
  • Design and improve website, campaign and product event tracking
  • Analyse user behaviour, acquisition, activation, feature adoption, conversion, retention, churn and customer cohorts
  • Work hands-on with BigQuery, advanced SQL and existing data pipelines
  • Identify and resolve missing, duplicated or inconsistent data
  • Reconcile subscription data across Stripe, App Store Connect and other channels
  • Build and maintain executive, product and growth dashboards using Looker Studio or similar tools
  • Support A/B testing by defining hypotheses, success metrics and appropriate analysis
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, growth opportunities and blind spots
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Use Python where required for data cleaning, backfills, reconciliation and advanced analysis
  • Support analytics for AI-enabled features, including output evaluation, conversation analysis and personalisation models

Requirements Essential
  • Proven experience owning analytics end-to-end—from instrumentation and data foundations through to dashboards, insights and business recommendations
  • Strong product or customer-lifecycle analytics experience, including user behaviour, funnels, feature adoption, cohorts, retention, churn or experimentation
  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, subqueries, window functions and query optimisation
  • Professional BigQuery experience working with complex or large datasets
  • Experience improving data quality and resolving missing, duplicated or conflicting data
  • Experience creating dashboards and reporting used by founders, executives or senior leadership
  • Ability to translate analysis into clear commercial or product recommendations
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Confidence working independently in a fast-moving environment without rigid processes
Highly Valued
  • Experience in SaaS, subscriptions, consumer applications, e-commerce or another product-led technology business
  • Mixpanel or comparable product analytics experience
  • GA4 implementation, event tracking or digital marketing analytics
  • Looker Studio or comparable business intelligence tools
  • Stitch or another ETL platform
  • Stripe subscription, payment, invoice, refund and payout analysis
  • App Store Connect or mobile subscription-lifecycle reporting
  • Python and pandas for data analysis, cleaning or backfills
  • A/B testing and applied statistical analysis
  • Exposure to LLM integration, AI-output evaluation, conversation analysis, prompt engineering or predictive modelling
  • Interest in health, nutrition, fitness or consumer technology
Who This Role Suits

You may currently work as a Senior Data Analyst, Product Data Analyst, Product Analyst, Analytics Lead or Analytics Engineer. Your title matters less than the scope you have personally owned.

You’ll be a strong fit if you can move comfortably between technical and commercial work—for example, investigating a BigQuery issue, improving event tracking, analysing subscription churn and then explaining what the business should do next.

This role is unlikely to suit candidates whose experience is mainly operational reporting, workforce management, contact-centre analytics or dashboard production without ownership of the underlying data and metrics.

Benefits Package and Benefits
  • ₱125,000–₱135,000 monthly contractor rate, based on experience

  • Long-term, full-time contractor engagement

  • 100% permanent work-from-home arrangement

  • Monday–Friday Australian day shift 0800 - 1700

  • High-impact work across product, marketing, subscriptions and AI
