The Senior Strategic Market Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, generating, and analyzing market data to provide insights that enable the organization to make informed and strategic decisions regarding the downstream purification market.

This position reports to the Senior Director Strategic Runways and is part of the Strategy department in the Resins & Technologies Business Unit located in Uppsala, Sweden and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

  • Market Analysis: Interpreting trends in the therapeutic and bioprocessing markets, combined with internal developments, to produce actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making within the Resins & Technologies business unit. Join a dynamic team where your analytical prowess can drive impactful changes.
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Continuously develop and improve models, dashboards, and reports from multiple data sources to enable accurate data to lead the business. Unleash your creativity and technical skills to innovate and refine our analytical tools.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with customers and stakeholders to provide analytical support and insights. Build strong relationships and become a trusted partner, delivering valuable insights that influence strategic decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Manage business unit growth projections, ensure timely updates, continuous improvement, and governance. Track and mitigate relevant KPIs. Be pivotal in steering our growth trajectory through meticulous planning and proactive management.

Who you are:

  • MSc or higher in Biotechnology, Engineering, or Life Sciences
  • 2nd degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analytics tools
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in developing data-driven insights, with proven ability to visualize trends and communicate insights effectively
  • Excellent English communication skills: Swedish is a plus
  • Preferred work experience: management consulting, investment analytics, leadership roles in life-sciences/biopharma, B2B commercial processes

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

  • Ability to travel – maximum 10% % of time.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Cross-functional teamwork experience.
  • Proven ability to see the bigger picture and understand business implications.
  • Positive attitude and initiative
