The Senior Data Products Analyst owns the end-to-end delivery of quarterly analytical projects that directly support company OKRs. You’ll turn business questions into scalable, reusable data products—dashboards, models, and analyses that deliver measurable impact.
You’ll lead by example in how we plan, execute, and communicate our work: structured delivery, strong documentation, and relentless focus on adoption and reuse.
As a Senior, you may also manage or mentor a Data Services Analyst to ensure requests flow smoothly, data is reliable, and outputs are trusted.
Whether aligned to Product & PR, GTM & CX or operating in a generalist portfolio, your goal is the same: deliver the roadmap, build once and reuse often, and empower the business to self-serve.
This will include
Deliver the Quarterly Roadmap
- Own delivery of the defined quarterly roadmap, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned to OKRs.
- Break roadmap items into sprints, define milestones, and track risks and dependencies.
- Work closely with your manager to communicate progress, surface trade-offs early, and maintain accountability.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure outputs meet the intended business outcomes and adoption goals.
Build Once, Use Often
- Turn one-off or exploratory analyses into reusable dashboards, metrics, or data models.
- Define clear metric logic and documentation to ensure consistent reuse across teams.
- Work with Data Platforms to maintain trusted, governed data sources and improve the semantic layer.
- Reduce ad-hoc work by building robust, discoverable assets that answer recurring questions.
Ship Like a Product
- Treat each deliverable—dashboard, model, or report—as a product with requirements, testing, release notes, and post-launch follow-up.
- Measure adoption and user engagement, and iterate based on feedback.
- Partner with stakeholders to drive uptake, ensure usability, and prevent analytics waste through underused assets.
- Keep deliverables lightweight, clear, and designed for decision velocity.
Enable Self-Service
- Lift data literacy by teaching stakeholders how to explore and use dashboards confidently.
- Create onboarding materials, training sessions, and simple playbooks that explain how to use BI tools effectively.
- Reduce support pings and manual queries by improving discoverability and user empowerment.
- Champion AI and automation to simplify how people access insights.
Strengthen Data Quality & Feedback Loops
- Conduct proactive validation of key data fields, metrics, and joins to maintain trust in reporting.
- Partner with Data Platforms to log and resolve upstream data issues efficiently.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead and develop a Data Services Analyst, setting clear goals, delivery standards, and review cadences.
- Coach for problem-solving, prioritisation, and data quality ownership.
- Model structured, transparent working habits—strong documentation, proactive communication, and focus on outcomes.
- Help create a psychologically safe, high-accountability environment that values continuous improvement.
To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring

- Experience delivering structured, roadmap-driven analytics projects within defined timelines.
- Deep understanding of data visualisation, storytelling, and driving adoption.
- Product mindset: familiar with agile sprints, release cycles, and iteration.
- Proven ability to mentor or guide junior analysts or data specialists.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills; comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment.
Working Style, Principles & Expectations
- Focus & follow-through. Commit, deliver, communicate clearly.
