As a Senior Data & Automation Analyst at Linktree, you’ll be the data backbone of our Strategy & Finance function — turning a fast-growing stream of operational and financial data into the clean, reliable foundations the business runs on. Linktree serves tens of millions of creators and billions of visitors, and the decisions our leaders make depend on data they can trust.
You’ll own the full lifecycle: modelling data, automating the pipelines and workflows that today eat hours of manual effort, and building the infrastructure that lets StratFin scale efficiently and layer AI systems on top reliably. You’ll partner directly with Finance and Strategy leaders, translating ambiguous questions into durable data products.
Most of all, you’ll help Linktree achieve our mission: to empower anyone to curate and grow their digital universe — by making sure the people steering the company work from a single, trustworthy source of truth.
What You’ll Own
- You’ll design and maintain the data models that power StratFin reporting, planning, and analysis.
- You’ll automate manual, repetitive data and reporting workflows end-to-end.
- You’ll build reliable pipelines with testing, monitoring, and clear ownership so the business can trust the numbers.
- You’ll partner with Finance and Strategy stakeholders to translate ambiguous questions into scalable data products.
- You’ll lay the data foundations that make it safe to layer AI and automation systems on top.
- You’ll champion data quality standards and help shape how the team works with data.
- You have 4–5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, or a comparable data-heavy role.
- You have strong SQL and data-modelling skills (e.g. dbt, dimensional modelling) and can reason about scalability and trade-offs.
- You can build automation and pipelines with Python or similar, and you care about reliability and maintainability.
- You thrive in ambiguity and can turn a vague business request into a clear, trustworthy data product.
- You can influence and communicate with non-technical Finance and Strategy stakeholders.
- You have a bias toward impact and innovation, and can prioritise ruthlessly against business value.
- You can work from our Melbourne or Sydney office on a hybrid basis.
P.S. If you don’t tick every box in this listing, please don’t rule yourself out. We take pride in inclusion and hiring incredible human beings with great potential over ticking boxes – so if this role resonates with you, hit that apply button!
