Do work that matters

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll join the Engineering Chapter supporting the Financial Crime Reporting & Insights (FCRI) crew. Our data squads design and build scalable cloud-native data pipelines that power critical financial crime monitoring, reporting and insights capabilities across the bank.

You'll work across modern AWS data technologies including Glue, Redshift, EMR, Iceberg and Snowflake, helping transform complex data into trusted products that support critical business decisions and customer outcomes. You'll collaborate with engineers, product teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient and high-quality data solutions while contributing to the evolution of our cloud data ecosystem.

Our Financial Crime Reporting & Insights crew is highly data-driven, with dedicated data squads building the platforms and pipelines that enable critical financial crime products and services. You'll work alongside experienced engineers in a supportive environment that values innovation, continuous learning and engineering excellence.

We're interested in hearing from people who:

  • Have experience designing and building cloud-based data pipelines using AWS technologies such as Glue, Redshift, EMR, Athena, S3 and Iceberg.

  • Have strong data engineering expertise across Python, SQL and Spark.

  • Bring experience working with Snowflake or have demonstrable knowledge of modern cloud data warehouse platforms.

  • Have delivered data solutions within Agile engineering environments and enjoy solving complex data challenges.

  • Have experience collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.

  • Have knowledge of data governance, security and modern data management practices.

  • Have experience with CI/CD practices, automation and cloud-native delivery approaches.

  • Are passionate about building next-generation data platforms and creating high-quality outcomes for customers and the business.
