Senior Data Engineer to support a banking client: design and build Snowflake-based data platforms, implement Iceberg tables, develop dbt models, use AWS (S3, Lambda), create CI/CD pipelines, orchestrate with Airflow. Senior data engineer with strong Snowflake & DBT experience to join our team and work alongside one of our banking clients.
Initial 6 month full time contract with strong potential to extend. Hybrid model of 2 days in the Sydney CBD office.
Experience required:
- 7-10+ years of professional experience in data engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Demonstrated experience implementing Iceberg tables
- Strong experience with dbt (Core or Cloud)
- Strong AWS: S3, Lambda etc
- Experience setting up & building CI/CD pipelines
- Airflow experience for orchestration
- Highly desirable: Kafka
