What we are looking for:
We are seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to join our growing Data Cloud Practice. You will work closely with our blue-chip banking clients.
Essential skills/experience required:
- 7-10+ years of experience across data engineering, cloud computing or data warehousing
- Strong expertise in one or more of the following: Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Fabric, AWS, Azure, GCP, Cloudera or Teradata etc.
- Willingness to up-skill in Snowflake if you do not have Snowflake experience
- Strong data modelling experience & ETL processes
- Strong expertise in SQL
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence technical decisions.
- Strong stake holder engagement skills/experience
Highly desirable:
- Consulting experience
- Design and architecture experience
- Experience with dbt, Fivetran, Matillion
- DevOps experience
- Experience with Python, Java, Scala nice to have.
- Relevant certifications (SnowPro etc)
