What you'll do:
The ANZ region represents a significant growth opportunity for The Trade Desk. As Senior Data Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in translating data partnerships into measurable commercial impact across Brand Direct, new business, and agency channels.

You will be responsible for shaping and executing the ANZ data partnerships strategy in close partnership with Commercial leadership, ensuring data, identity, and measurement capabilities are deployed in ways that scale, support priority accounts, and align to regional growth objectives.

This role sits at the intersection of partner management, go-to-market execution, and commercial leadership, and requires comfort operating both strategically and hands-on where impact matters most.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ANZ Data Partnerships Strategy
Support the Senior Director, Data Partnerships ANZ to execute and operationalise the ANZ data partnerships strategy, translating global and regional priorities into locally relevant plans that support commercial teams.
  • Commercial Alignment & Go-To-Market
Partner closely with Brand Direct and Agency commercial teams to develop scalable, partner-led go-to-market narratives and use cases that support priority accounts and new business opportunities.
  • Strategic Partner Portfolio
Identify, secure, and grow strategic partnerships across retail, audience, and measurement partners, activating Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners through repeatable frameworks.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with Product, Legal, Finance, Technical Account Management, and other stakeholders to structure, operationalise, and scale partnerships effectively across the region.
  • Market Presence & Industry Engagement
Represent The Trade Desk with partners, customers, and industry bodies, contributing to industry forums, events, and external engagement aligned to data and ecosystem priorities.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Data Partnerships ANZ and is based in Sydney or Melbourne, with interstate travel required.

Who you are:

  • 7+ years’ experience in data, adtech, SaaS, cloud platforms, or digital media, with a strong track record of building and scaling commercial partnerships
  • Proven experience working with data platforms and ecosystems, including cloud, data warehousing, CDPs, or analytics environments, with a solid understanding of data security, privacy, and governance considerations
  • Commercially fluent in complex data products, able to translate technical concepts (e.g. first-party data onboarding, secure data collaboration, identity, measurement) into clear customer and partner value
  • Demonstrated success driving growth in Australia & New Zealand, influencing outcomes across Brand Direct, agencies, or enterprise customers
  • Executive-level presence and influence, capable of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and driving change in matrixed organisations
  • Comfort operating across strategy and execution, able to set direction while also progressing priority initiatives hands-on when required
  • Experienced in complex partnership structures, including contracts, commercial negotiations, and working across Legal, Product, Technical, and Finance teams
  • Strong judgement in ambiguous environments, able to prioritise, make decisions with imperfect information, and balance depth with scale
  • High emotional intelligence and integrity, with a consultative, collaborative approach to internal and external partnerships
  • Credible industry representative, comfortable engaging in senior partner discussions, customer forums, and broader industry conversations
  • Demonstrated ability to take full ownership and operate independently in senior, ambiguous environments, while maintaining strong alignment with leadership and cross-functional teams.
